Shopping in Orange County, California, is almost as part of a national pastime as watching a game of Angel, and so dear. There are fun places to go to take on a mission, just follow some guidelines.

Fashion Island in Newport Beach. This area is all Outdoor everything from McDonald's to Bloomingdale's. Good place out of town guests who want the real "OC" experience.
South Coast Plaza and Crystal Court. These issues are interrelated and are luxury shops and restaurants. Even Tiffany's and Prada are represented. But if you really looking for "walkers" Footlocker has also a stand. The shops are not the thing for high end just here, customers tend to dress Ride for the day too.
The Shops at Mission Viejo. He used to be dark and dirty, but is now close to rival the look and designers Fashion Island.
Some shopping centers and nearly Huntington Beach Center is now out and is very nice.
On the other hand, if you are looking in shop til you drop: try The Block at Orange and the surrounding areas outside the South Shore Plaza. Both have shops selling different brands, as well as some off the fine / Off-season tents.
More down to earth, one type of sites can be found in the orange circle, where many small craft shops and antiques. The same could be said of Laguna Beach in several small enclaves across the main road just outside the Pacific Coast Highway. The Lab in Costa Mesa, compared with major commercial center, is called an "alternative" shopping mecca, is small but it has elements unique.
Looking for pampering and entertainment at a time? Try the Kaleidoscope in Mission Viejo. Nice restaurants, art galleries, Bristol Farms, Bally's (presumably to work off the calories consumed in restaurants), movies and a Burke-Williams Dayspa.
Orange County has something for everyone, even if you actually purchase the new walkers first make the most seats.
